Internship Program

InkWell offers paid, part-time internships in the spring, summer and fall seasons.

Interns will assist with the reading and evaluation of queries and manuscripts and help with administrative and research tasks which are designed to better understand the workings of a literary agency. Interns will also contribute to various projects within the agency involving foreign and subsidiary rights, contracts, royalties and social media.

InkWell has a successful track record helping interns find full-time publishing positions throughout the industry.

Positions are posted at bookjobs.com throughout the year, but at any time we welcome applicants who are interested to email a cover letter and resume in the body of the email (no attachments) to: hiring@inkwellmanagement.com. In the subject line, indicate the season and the year, along with the word ‘Internship’. No phone calls, please.

We are also partnered with the We Need Diverse Books (WNDB) Internship Grant Program, which offers supplemental grants for summer internships to applicants from diverse backgrounds to help further their goals of pursuing their careers in publishing.
