Margaret Wilkerson Sexton and Diane Williams have been longlisted for the 2020 Simpson/Joyce Carol Oates Literary Prize, which awards $50,000 to a writer who, according to the Simpson Literary Project website, "has earned a distinguished reputation and the approbation and gratitude of readers." The Shortlist Finalists will be named in March 2020; a winner will be announced in April 2020.
