If you are suspicious of an email purporting to be from someone at InkWell, please reach out by phone to our main number (212-922-3500) so that we can report the incident to relevant authorities.
Please also exercise caution when reviewing inquiries from parties claiming to be editors, journalists, podcasters, or other public figures. We have recently seen an increase in phishing activity that targets existing clients and/or their work.

We are deeply saddened to share that James Valentine, 64, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, in Sydney, Australia. James was a musician, radio and television presenter, and author. Among others, his books include the TimeJumpers trilogy: Rule #1: Don't Touch Anything, Rule #2: Don't Even Think About It, and Rule #3: See Rule One, also called The Past Is Gone, The Present Never Happens, and The Future Is Unknown. It was an honor to have worked with him and our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
