Three InkWell Books Shortlisted for Indie Book Awards 2020

Anne Brinsden

Anne Brinsden lives in the western suburbs of Melbourne with her husband, a mad cat and a family of magpies. Her three children live close by. Anne has been writing fiction for a few short years. Since then she has won the 2017 Albury Write Around the Murray short story competition, judged and presented by Bruce Pascoe; and been highly commended in the 2018 Williamstown Literary Festival short story competition. Anne spent her childhood in the Mallee in northern Victoria, and taught in secondary schools and the tertiary sector in Sunraysia Victoria before moving to Melbourne to work in the Victorian departments of Education and of Health and Human Services. Anne worked as a senior public servant for a number of years before deciding it was time to put her day dreams on paper.
