Luke Dumas

Luke Dumas is the Pushcart-nominated author of The Paleontologist and A History of Fear. His nonfiction has appeared in Literary Hub, Hobart, Panorama: The Journal of Travel, Place, and Nature, and more. Born and raised in San Diego, California, Luke has worked in nonprofit philanthropy for more than ten years with organizations such as San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance and the American Red Cross. He received his master’s degree in creative writing from the University of Edinburgh and is a graduate of the University of Chicago.
