CG Drews

CG Drews is the author of A Thousand Perfect Notes and the award-winning The Boy Who Steals Houses with Hachette UK. Their upcoming novel, Don’t Let the Forest In, will be published with Feiwel & Friends (NA) and Hodder (UK) this fall, with Hazelthorn to follow in 2025. Don’t Let the Forest In is a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection and has received a starred review from Booklist and has a Barnes & Noble exclusive edition. Their debut adult horror, You Did Nothing Wrong, will be published in 2026. Their work has been translated into five languages, received a nomination for the 2020 CILIP Carnegie Medal, and won the 2020 CBCA Honour Award. CG lives in Australia, never sleeps, and is forever buried under a pile of unread books.
