Ewan Clayton

Ewan Clayton is professor in the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media at the University of Sunderland. A classically trained calligrapher and world authority on calligraphy and lettering, he was for many years a consultant to Xerox PARC with an interest in digital communications technology. The Golden Thread: The Story of Writing is his first trade book, published by Counterpoint in February 2014.
